Pain: Chiropractic Can Help
“Chiropractic care is much more than just taking care of a specific pain, stiffness or tension. It is about understanding and taking care of your body to improve your overall well-being and quality of life.”
Chiropractic is an overall way of looking at the human body. It’s based on the idea that the body is self-sustaining and self-healing. The body is, in essence, completely controlled by the brain and central nervous system through its connection to the spinal cord and the vast networks of nerves that are responsible for the body’s internal communications. When this system is not functioning at its peak, the overall performance of the human body suffers.
We view the body as a whole and believe it should be treated as such. Simply treating symptoms will not cure the root cause. While supplementation and nutrition are almost always a part of the bigger picture, drugs and prescriptions are viewed as short-term, quick fixes, often with undesirable side effects.
While it’s often perceived that the chiropractor is solely here to treat back and neck pain, this is simply a small piece of what the profession really is capable of handling. Chiropractors not only treat soft and hard tissue problems such as sciatica and joint pain, but are largely called on to deal with more significant issues. However, regular chiropractic visits are and should be part of your regular health and wellness routine.
Our goal is to educate our patients about chiropractic and other natural solutions to common health problems. We measure success by the degree to which our patients take responsibility in restoring and maintaining their own health. When you feel your best, you positively affect those around you, too. In essence, we succeed when our patients are living to their fullest, healthiest potential.
As chiropractors, we understand the old adage that every person is different, but on a deeper level. Although our patients may be diagnosed with the same condition, each one responds very differently to various treatments. With this knowledge, each patient receives an individualized treatment plan focused on specific needs, goals, and individually unique medical/physical conditions.
We know that finding the right chiropractor who is not only aware of the most current techniques and methodologies, but also understands constantly changing health care needs, can be extremely challenging. We have developed this site to help you in that task. We hope you find it educational and helpful in learning more about us and our approach to chiropractic care as you begin your journey to improved health and quality of life.
We look forward to helping you on your journey to better health and a more balanced life.
